2024 Technology Leader of the Year

Application

Purpose of Award:  This award is to honor a district technology leader/administrator who exhibits exemplary leadership in the effective use and integration of technology in the teaching and learning process and technology operations throughout the leader’s district.

Criteria:  Eligible recipients include site or district technology coordinators, technology directors, lead technology facilitators, and administrators. 

Award Winners:  OKSTE will choose one (1) technology leader supports digital age learning through implementing technology and transforms the education landscape.

Application:  Applications must be received by 11:59 PM on Monday, September 16, 2024.  

Award:  Award recipient will be announced at the OKSTE 2024 conference in Tulsa on November 7. This person will receive a plaque and statewide recognition.

This should be written by an employee/representative of the OKSTE member district and should answer the following question.

• Why should this person be awarded the OKSTE Technology Leader of the Year award?

Statement requirements

• no longer than 1,500 words/2 pages
• Ariel or Times New Roman
• 10-12 point font

Part C: Letters of Recommendation (Optional)

Three letters of recommendation may be included in the application/nomination. Letters may be from patrons, parents, local businesses, students, or others.
