We do this is four main ways: Negotiate online vendor contracts and conduct reviews of online courses, Design and implement courses within the Horizon LMS, Provide teachers of record, and Administer Horizon Consortium. There is no cost to join the Horizon Consortium, and the window to join for AY 2023-23 is currently open through June 30th. Additionally, the state has approved a $950K subsidy to provide additional discounts for the concurrent and student licenses. While funs are available, districts new to Horizon can receive 30% off, and Horizon legacy members can receive 20% off. Read more about Horizon: Digitally Enhanced Campus here.

Onboarding and Adopting Instructional Technologies: Preparing for your best school year yet
Did you know…on average, 67% of educational software product licenses go unused in the K-12 market today? Properly managing a portfolio of technologies requires continuous effort to minimize redundancy and waste. Oftentimes, we begin searching for and analyzing data around what’s being utilized and by whom as we try to remediate this negative effect. And, in turn, our efforts aren’t aimed enough at the root cause of the issue – failure to properly onboard and adopt these technologies.
In this one-hour interactive webinar, we’ll open discussion for you and your peers to share common challenges and best practices with:
• onboarding new staff and new instructional technologies,
• cataloging and communicating which applications have been purchased and how to maximize their effectiveness,
• building and maintaining resources and technologies that support the coach/ITRT’s role in teacher and student achievement.
Register now and plan to join us Tuesday, April 18th 3pm ET - one lucky attendee will win a Tory Burch handbag (valued at $398)!
