Gerry Brooks has been an educator for 25 years, beginning as a third grade teacher in Palm Bay, FL. He earned his masters in administration and has been an elementary principal for 12 years. Originally using humorous videos to encourage his staff, Gerry has become a national encourager for teachers through social media and speaking events. He is a voice for teachers, but his passion is leading others to be responsible for their own personal climate and culture in the workplace. His book, Go See the Principal, outlines strategies for taking on this responsibility. Gerry and his wife, Kelly, have 3 adult children and live in Lexington, KY.
Dr. Catlin Tucker is a bestselling author, international trainer, and keynote speaker. She was named Teacher of the Year in 2010 in Sonoma County, where she taught for 16 years. Catlin earned her doctorate in learning technologies from Pepperdine University. Currently, Catlin is working as a blended learning coach, education consultant, and professor in the Masters of Arts in Teaching program at Pepperdine University. Catlin has written a series of bestselling books on blended learning, which include The Complete Guide to Blending Learning, UDL and Blended Learning, Balance with Blended Learning, Blended Learning in Action, Power Up Blended Learning, and Blended Learning In Grades 4-12. Andre Daughty's (Pronounced: Awn-Dray Dow (rhymes with how) - tee) educational journey truly began after hearing Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu state, "If you observe children, they will teach you how to teach them." That phrase shifted Andre's philosophy of education. By observing the students in his own classroom at the elementary, secondary and post-graduate level, he differentiated curriculum and projects based on his students' interests. With over 25 years of experience, Holly is an international speaker, bestselling author, and dedicated advocate for digital learning. She was one of the first teachers in the nation to have a 1:1 classroom and she now shares her knowledge and insights to help other teachers tap into their blended learning genius. With over 24 years of experience teaching in 1:1 classrooms and providing strategic initiatives and teacher training to schools globally, Holly has established herself as a leader in educational technology. Her extensive expertise in integrating technology effectively has made her a highly sought-after resource for educators worldwide. Holly's impact on the education industry is reflected in her acclaimed books, The Google Infused Classroom and Chromebook Infused Classroom, which are highly regarded by educators worldwide. She is a Google Certified Innovator, a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, and a National Board Certified Teacher. Through the K20 program, Holly worked with Lawton Public Schools for an entire year - helping teachers at Tomlinson Middle School find their blended learning genius.
