Delilah Rodriguez is the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction who oversees curriculum development, instructional practices, and technology integration for McAlester Public Schools. Delilah believes the highest academic achievement is fostered through a combination of three strands: standards-aligned and vertical-aligned curriculum, research-based instructional practices, and effective technology usage. In addition to having taught both elementary and secondary classes, she has created and continues to develop the STEM Program for McAlester Public Schools with the newest addition being the development of an Aviation Program. She has been a MPS Teacher of the Year Finalist twice and has received the Supporting K20 Innovative Educators (SKIE) Award from the K20 Center. Delilah holds a BS in Elementary Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and a ME in Educational Leadership from East Central University.
