 Last Call for OKSTE 2025 Awards – Deadline September 2! 

The Oklahoma Society for Technology in Education (OKSTE) is seeking nominations for three prestigious awards that celebrate excellence in educational technology. If you know an inspiring leader, educator, or district making a difference through innovative technology use, now is the time to nominate them! All nominations are due by Monday, September 2, 2024.

2025 OKSTE Technology Leader of the Year

Purpose: Honors a district technology leader or administrator who demonstrates exemplary leadership in the effective use and integration of technology in teaching, learning, and district operations.

Eligibility: Site or district technology coordinators, technology directors, lead technology facilitators, and administrators.

Selection: One leader will be chosen for their ability to champion digital-age learning and transform the educational landscape through innovative technology practices.

2025 OKSTE Teacher of the Year – “Making IT Happen”

Purpose: Recognizes a teacher from an OKSTE member district who models excellence in integrating technology into classroom teaching and learning.

Criteria: Teachers must demonstrate the ISTE Educator Standards by designing, implementing, and assessing technology-rich learning experiences that engage students, enhance professional practice, and provide exemplary models for colleagues and the community. View full ISTE Educator Standards here.

Selection: One teacher will be honored for exceptional use of technology to enrich learning for all students.

2025 OKSTE Outstanding Technology Integration District

Purpose: Celebrates a school district that demonstrates outstanding excellence in the use of technology across all areas of learning.

Criteria: Consideration will be given to:

  • Comprehensive technology infusion district-wide

  • Integration across all curricular areas

  • Use of technology to meet individual student needs

  • Alignment with state standards and instructional technology skills

Selection: One district will be recognized for its innovative use of diverse technology tools and strategies to enhance learning for every student.

   Nomination Deadline: Monday, September 2, 2024
