| Peter Liesenfeld has been an educator in Norman Public Schools for 19 years. A lifelong resident of Norman, Peter attended Norman Public Schools, followed by two decades at the University of Oklahoma, earning a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Education Administration. Peter’s research has centered primarily on community engagement in the school setting, providing support and access to all students. He continues to serve as Chief Technology Officer; his wife, Leslie, at McKinley Elementary for 17 years, and his two children Emily and Benjamin at Norman High and Alcott. Peter has devoted his career to giving back to the community that supported him through his childhood, and strives daily to make a difference in children’s lives.
