Lucinda Francis is a twice National Board Certified teacher. She is employed by Moore Norman Technology Center as an instructional coach and literacy specialist where she has supported and advocated for students, faculty, and staff for 12 years. At MNTC, she serves on the legislative committee, a strategic planning committee, and various advisory boards. She serves on the Oklahoma Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development’s board and OKACTE’s Educational Support – Special Populations’ board. Past service includes Board of Directors for Sooner Rotary and Center for Children and Families in Norman, OK. She is a graduate of Leadership Norman. Lucinda holds an M.Ed in education and an M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Administration. She taught in Australia and the Dominican Republic and was selected as a Hitachi exchange teacher to Japan. She spent a few years as an A+ Fellow in Oklahoma. Her experience includes urban, suburban, and rural schools, elementary, middle school, and high schools. She is married to Jonathan Scott and they raised two boys, both National Merit Scholars and graduates of OU. Their hobbies include working out, dancing, and training their dogs for flyball and agility.
